Our Course Format
Our online continuing education process emphasizes ease of use and speed by delivering your courses through your web browser. Following purchase of your courses, a username and password will be emailed to you giving you access to your courses.

Technical Requirements
Chrome is the recommended browser but as long as you're using the updated version of your preferred browser, you shouldn't have any problems.

    Passing Scores
    Although assessments are used within the courses as part of the learning process, New Jersey does not require a specific passing score.

    License Renewal Dates
    Licensees need to have their CE completed by 4/30 of every odd numbered year. Currently education needs completed by 4/30/23 this cycle.

    Continuing Education Requirements 
    All New Jersey licensees are required to complete 12 hours of continuing education to renew their license every two years. Find the details below.

    Completion Certificates
    Certificates are emailed to students following course completion.

    Reporting Responsibilities
    Course completions must be submitted to the New Jersey Real Estate Commission through PSI. Courses must be submitted within 7-10 days after completion and will be done within said time frame.

    Steps-to-Renew

    1. Complete your qualifying questionnaire. 

       - All real estate licensee regardless of type must fill out the states qualifying questionnaire. 

       - To do so one must enter their information on this page here and follow the prompts to submit it.

    2. Complete your continuing education.

       - Complete your 12 hours (6 core, 6 elective) of continuing education from a certified provider before April 30th of licensing year (every odd numbered year)

       *Note: providers have up to 10 business days to submit your course completion to the state so take that in mind when finishing.

    3. Have your Broker of Record submit license for renewal.

      - Have your Broker of Record submit your license for renewal, if you are the Broker of Record sign on to the myNewJersey site and go through the steps required there.

    CE Requirements

    All New Jersey Broker of Record, Broker-salesperson, or salesperson (12hrs):

    - 6 hours of core courses

          - 1 hour of which must be Fair Housing topics

          - 2 hours of which must be Ethics topics

          - 3 hours from the core list found here (can also still be 3 more hours of fair housing or ethics as well

     - 6 hours of elective courses

           - 6 hours of any elective topic courses, a list of topics can be found here
